Issues and Options - our priorities and process
Our Local Plan will set out the policies necessary to address the strategic priorities in our area. This consultation is designed to share both the priorities and the potential policies to address these needs and invites you to take part and help us shape these for a successful and sustainable future. All priorities and policies in this consultation have been shaped using evidence and research, but the best policies are those which have brought together that research with the views and evidence from local residents and statutory consultees to deliver a truly collaborative future for our area.
This section summarises the main characteristics of the area, including any major constraints on development, and local needs. It also confirms the main issues that the Local Plan will seek to address.
